Through the lens a football game and barbeque, I discuss how cultural activities such as sports programs and media efforts, educational initiatives and spacial and demographic transformations are bridging a gap between the integrated, employed ethnic Germans and lower income immigrants who have lower quality of life and educational level. I finally discuss how the program may achieve sustainability through further integration of local minorities groups in the Quartiersmanagement programming leadership.
